Weigh It. 8.6 Grams.
Most "8 mil" gloves on the market are actually 6 mil with an 8 mil label. A real 8 mil weighs 8.6 grams per glove, a 6 mil weighs 6.5. That's a 32% difference in actual nitrile, and it's the only spec you can verify yourself with a kitchen scale. Ours runs 8.6 grams a glove, 25 pounds to the case. If a competitor's case weighs 20 pounds, you're buying 6 mil with an 8 mil sticker.
8 Mil Palm, 9 Mil Fingertip
Cheap gloves are thickest where it's easy to measure and thinnest where they actually fail, the fingertips. Ours run 8.0 mil at the palm and 9.0 mil at the finger, reinforced exactly where you grip, tear, and puncture. The fingertip is where a glove dies. Ours is thicker there than at the palm. Most aren't.
500% Elongation
It stretches five times its own length before it tears. That's not a trick, it's the published tensile spec: minimum 500% elongation, at least 14 MPa tensile strength. That's why it doesn't rip when you're pulling it over a wet hand at 6am.
Bonus for the trades: the raised diamond texture covers the palm AND the back of the hand, which is what lets you grip a part with the back of your fingers in a tight engine bay. Most textured gloves only do the palm.
